Winter Trail Clean Up and Ice Skating

On Saturday, January 20 2007 CHEARS co-sponsored a mini-Winter Trail Clean Up for our adopted portion of the Northwest Branch (mile 4 to 6). There were 19 Mother Jones Earth Squad kids and 7 adults participating. We celebrated our picking up 8 bags of trash and several tires and other large junk, with ice skating at Wells Ice Rink. A good time was had by all!
