This juvenile red-shouldered hawk was seen at the Greenbelt CHEARS site on Jan 1, 2008. With eyesight 2.6 times sharper than humans, she (or he) is watching our watershed. At any signs of trouble, she will swoop down and deal with it! We should all resolv . . .
